What went wrong with the Nissan Qashqai
The family's only Qashqai key went missing after a trip out, leaving the car stuck outside the house.
What we found on arrival
The Qashqai uses Nissan's Intelligent Key with push-button start. With no key present, a new one had to be registered to the car's immobiliser.
How we sorted it
We supplied a new Intelligent Key, cut the hidden emergency blade to the door lock and registered the key to the car, removing the lost key at the same time.
The result
Keyless entry and push-button start both working, and the lost key can no longer start the car.
